can / tin -- （盛食物或者盛饮料的）金属罐，易拉罐

像平时的罐头，或者是罐装的啤酒饮料都可以用can和tin来表达。

“can和tin”同样也可以用来表达：“一罐的量”，或者是“一听的量”。

I would like a can of beef and a tin of beer.

我想要一罐牛肉和一听啤酒。

jar -- 广口瓶，比较大点的玻璃罐子、坛子

（同样“jar”也可以用来表达：一罐的量）

I bought a jar of chilli.

我买了一罐子的辣椒。

top -- 玻璃瓶盖，塑料瓶盖，笔帽盖……

（一般可以泛指所有的盖子）

The top of this bottle is plastic.

这个瓶子的盖子是塑料的。

lid -- 锅盖，壶盖，箱子的盖子……
