还记得大学毕业之后买的第一只手表就是一只卡西欧的EDIFICE，但是我当时对于手表几乎是一无所知，在众多手表品牌当中，唯一认得出的也就只有卡西欧一个品牌了。当时的我连机械和石英都还分不清楚，卡西欧手表的各项功能看得我眼花缭乱，垂涎欲滴。当然最后我并没有买下那支功能强大的G-SHOCK，而是选择了一款简单的EDIFICE， 但这并不影响他在我心里埋下的那颗冲动种子。

卡西欧是二战后成立的品牌，创立于 1946 年，以电子计算器起家，1974年研发出了首款Tron电子表，和精工、西铁城一样，卡西欧也是一家上市公司。它的产品更主要的是计算器、照相机、电子琴，整体的销售收入为 170 亿元人民币左右，手表业务的收入仅为 6 亿元左右，在日系三大腕表品牌中占比最小，但是它在电子表的领域，其居 G-SHOCK系列可是与天梭 T touch 齐名的世界顶级梯队。
